I have to say, it loads up pages wayyyyy faster than Firefox on my computer.

Easy tab system, simple design with no bullshit on the toolbars, and a built-in spell checker.

What more do you need?

Are there any plug ins for it yet?

Guys, they don't own your shit.

They don't even have permission to take control of your shit.

They DO have permission to use your shit to promote google.

Did anyone even read the Licsense Agreement to Google Chrome? On the part about posting media (videos, articles, etc.) It basically says they own your soul. If you post a video it's not your video anymore it is owned by the google coporation and they have the right to.....

Recreate, perform, take credit, blah blah blah blah every part of your video so basically when you use Chrome you can barely take credit for anything.....

I like the New Tab Pages and the Crash Control, but I think I'll stick with Firefox for now.

i download'd it and its better than IE and FF combined : maybe exaggerated...

Glad to know there are still things that firefox is doing better on..I keep hearing so many good things about Chrome. I've been watching this thread since day one, and it seems like it'd be worth it to wait for them to upgrade it a bit then try it out.

Thanks everyone for their opinions and info. Especially BananaBreadMuffin for talking some sense into me. I was scared for my privacy, but really..what's the worst that happens? They take my images or whatever, use them, I get publicity and become rich?

Hell yeah I'm gonna be on chrome, like "Please steal my stuff...Please steal my stuff.." I need better stuff now so that they want to steal it.

If you are a serious internet browser I'd say stick with Firefox because Chrome still has a ways to go to become the perfect browser for everyone.

Adn then theres the few exploits which aren't fixed yet. So yeah, stick with Firefox or IE for now. Play around with Chrome, but if you want a better browser then you'll have to wait.

Im using it right now, i noticed a significant uprise in speed, i think this will be better/as good as Firefox, once they get the kinks and glitches out.

Eh, this seems ok. Not much different than other browsers.

I just got Google Chrome today and I like what I see. The only downfall I don't like is that you have to type in the websites you want to visit every time. That is no problem though. I just remember that this is a beta and all will be better when the official thing comes out. I think it is just as good as Firefox!

Me too.

I love Google for actually making the user interface amazing. Even with those pretty large menu bars and stuff, it still saves as much space as my extremely consolidated Firefox interface that was done to save as much vertical screen space as much as possible. I don't really like Classic Compact, which is the most compact theme out there, but I say that the close buttons on the tabs are way too distracting for my taste with all the red and stuff while the rest of the browser is sleek white and blue and stuff.
