then why isnt World of Warcraft? Like drugs and alcohol, WoW is highly addictive, makes you feel great until you pass out, takes over your life, and is horrible for your health (sitting that many hours a day cant be good for you).

Seriously, think about it.

My first thought when I was the title was that alcohol isn't illegal for those who are of age, but on to discussion. You're trying to compare a game to a drug too which doesn't work. A drug is a chemical substance that is taken into the body and alters the structure or the functioning of the body. A game can't be ingested therefore it isn't a drug.

Also people do play it in moderation but since the image of someone playing it for the majority of the day is often what comes to mind, some assume that WoW players are all the same way like that. No the comparisons you make don't justify any consideration towards making the game illegal, whether you were being totally serious or it was just a random thought passing through your head. Leave the WoW people alone and get on with your life.

I HATE WORLD OF WARCRAFT!! I honestly don't understand why people are so into it. Granted, I've only played it for approx. 1 & and half hour, it's really stupid in my opinion.

Drugs and alcohol can cause physical addiction. World of Warcraft addiction is entirely mental, thus can be nullified by a sense of self control.
