Well just because it can't support our life doesn't mean it couldnt support another creatures, because it will have adapted to being able to live in those conditions.
illicit makes a damn good signature.
The voices in my head tell me Martians are real. One claims to have been a Martian before he was cast away as an outsider for his ideas about Pluto being a planet even though it's just a little guy.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances

I just pretend to hear voices and talk to myself.
Even worse.
I'm on the Dork Side.
Fuck Mars, I want to go to Uranus.
Shoot me a PM.
Bs want the D.
I think aliens are real, or were real because like the news sez, there IS frozen water on mars, which makes us belive that it did support life before we were alive!
Yeah, I've been thinking that too. Why do they have to be like us? Why shouldn't they survive without water/food?

Because if they aren't like us then God isn't real because there is only ONE God and if he made us in his image, all of his other creations would have been made in his image as well, except for the dinosaurs.

100% of life we know of could not have survived on Mars. When you find the Martian that can eat rocks, doesn't need water, and can survive in such high heat conditions, let me know.
There is a war going on in you're mind. People and ideas all competing for you're thoughts. And if you're thinking, you're winning.
Mars could have supported life long ago, however it has lost the vast majority of its atmosphere (which was similar to ours), since its gravity was not strong enough to stop most of the gases leaking into space. The only atmosphere that remains is that close enough to the surface to still be affected by Mars' gravity.
The whole reason WE have an atmosphere is that the size of our planet affords us a greater gravitational pull, keeping the different atmospheric layers together.
So in a nutshell, it is entirely possible that Mars could have supported simple life, but the dissipation of its atmosphere means that there is a near impossible chance of any life having been on Mars for the last 4 billion years.
