blur effect

how the hell do you do that blur effect, so it shows 2 or 3 frames before as well as the current one? i cant find any on ng, am i not looking hard enough? please only reply if youve got something decent to say, unlike the strange people who replied a load of crap at my last topic!

well, i've never done it... but i would -

make a new symbol, in that symbol but the main picture, just the image normally. Then duplicate it, ctrl>d, and set the new pictures alpha to say, ummm.. 40%... and move it to were you want the fade to go, then do the same again but changing the alpha and postion. then just tween the symbol across the screen.

well here's how i do it:
every time i go on a frame i add another pic and keep the old one but change it's alpha a bit and keep doing this until i completly delete it,would you guys like me to demonstarte it with a blast in slow motion?

Well i don't see why you can't make it,i've made a short remake of it but i had a realistic sky background with cartoon drawings,soemthing you shouldn't do if you don't want it to look manky lol
