Anyone who wants to trip about something made before they were born can STFU because they weren't around when it was made. They didn't live in that world. They're hella-noobs compared to the hardcore folks that watched these cartoons.
By that logic, we shouldn't complain about the Nazis or, in your case, the "global economy".
Nope, complaining about the Nazis is an old topic. It was old when my mom was young, and she's nearing retirement.
The global economy is a very real and current topic...if we allow this NAFTA crap then we can outsource our jobs to countries that pay their workers a dollar a day instead of 6-7 an hour, thus increasing that country's treasury(since their workers get paid, they get taxed, our dollars to go their governments) and we lose money for our government. Which leads to high dollar weapons, and low-dollar schools.

Thats total bull. Several Generations of people wernt around when WW went down, but people still bitch over memorial day, and the fallen soliders.
Memorial day is a good day to remember for ALL fallen soldiers. It may have started then, but it's not a WW2 Holiday anymore. Ask an Iraqi vet if you should completely ignore them on memorial day because of the WW2 people. Ask a 'Nam vet if they should be ignored because of WW2...All vets get remembered on memorial day, back to the dawn of time. Unless you -want- to ignore everyone else, then that's your choice.
Its NEVER about when it happend, its ALWAYS about who it happened to and why.
It's never about When? How bout 9/11? We remember the day but who remember's that it was Bush's fault that it happened? We all do, but nobody remembers 9/11 as the day Bush fucked up, we remember it as the day that the "terrorists" attacked us for "no reason". The who and the why are fuct in the history books, best to worry about when it was, that's the only true accuracy.
I dont mind people not caring about what happend to groups of people over the centuries, but i DO mind when they act like beacuse its been a full century since it happened, its no longer tragic or signifigant. Thats how you can tell a person who genuinely cares, and a total prick that only cares about themself.
Genuinely cares about what? About making ammends? I'm still feeling guilty for Slavery, and that's been over for a long-ass time. My grandpa was in WW2, he told me to ignore the war happened and never ask him questions about it. Since then I've taken the advice of someone who was there, who asked me as one of his last requests, to forget about it and pretend it didn't happen, and I've tried to do so.
So, the choice is yours. Continue creating negativity from it, being offended with racism, or ignore the negativity and try to find positivity in it?
Your choice. Positive future, or negative?
