has anyone noticed, or is it just me thinking it, that our current situation is a lot like what we fought against when we forged our own country so long ago? bush is spending all our tax money and doing whatever the hell he wants and not listening to anyone but his own desires, meanwhile we are paying for it, both through soldiers going to war, our taxes, our reputation, etc... it seems a lot to me like taxation with representation, we are being taxed as citizens of this country, but we have no damn say in whatever the country does

Dude, there are no words for how right you are. We should hang out more often.

And make a profile.

well lets see people vote, they send their reps/senators to dc, to talk bout current issues, we pay taxes to keep the govt going

its nothing like 1776

bush is spending all our tax money and doing whatever the hell he wants and not listening to anyone but his own desires,

explain... the govt spends its tax revenue thats what the govt does... he is the president, if congress wont stop him VOTE FOR NEW CONGRESSMAN/SENATORS...

meanwhile we are paying for it, both through soldiers going to war, our taxes, our reputation, etc...

yeah well thats the world, you cant fault anyone for how the world works

it seems a lot to me like taxation with representation,

that point is in direct CONTRADICTION of the first sentence...

we are being taxed as citizens of this country, but we have no damn say in whatever the country does

citzens get taxed by their country... you get a chance to vote, if you dont vote dont bitch... and if you cant vote try to get your parents to vote for the better qualified person... if not then rally voters to vote for the better qualified person... if you dont do any one of those things live with america the way it is...

if you do all of those thigns and your guy still loses then i suggest moving...

I believe voter turnout is something like 25% in America (correct me if i'm wrong.) Only 25%! That's nothing. If you as a country dont care ernough about ytour president then you can get the biggest idiot of all time as your president.

And you have.
