I am annoyed by McCain picking Palin for VP for 5 reasons:
1. It's obviously a ploy to recruit disgrultled Clinton supporters who want to put any woman in the White House, regardless of the political implications.
2. It plays on the confusion regarding the responsibilities of the vice president created by the Bush administration. Cheney had much more influence than VPs usually do. This also ties into point number 1.
3. This move shows that McCain thinks we're all stupid enough not to smell the bullshit. I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of a leader who thinks we're all retards.
4. Palin has a reputation for supporting pork-barrel projects. That claim about killing the "Bridge to Nowhere"? She only killed it when it got national media attention.
5. Palin has no experience at the national level whatsoever, and if McCain wins, she will be likely to become President due to McCain dying of stress or age-related illness. Considering what our foreign relations are like right now, that prospect should scare most of America.
Failing since 2007.

Well, Clinton fired nearly every person associated with the Bush 1 WH, and appointed all his own people, friends and colleagues most of them. I mean, he's obviously corrupt and did everything he could to dabble in the lives of everyone, letting his personal life get in the way of governing...
Bush 2 did the same thing... he even fired some judges for failing to prosecute people based on their political stances... he must also be corrupt and letting his personal life get in the way of good governing...
bets on which he says is ok and which he says isn't... odds: clinton, ok; 1.2:1, Bush bad 1.3:1
Tis better to sit in silence and be presumed a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Well, what the hell, then let things to come into place. I think McCain will be president. That's it, period.

I don't like Palin. She's really conservative and if McCain is chosen, America once again proves it's still a bunch of guncarrying rednecks, hunting down terrorists.
