Pop is at least good for something, its usually good dance music at parties sometimes, plus some of the songs are quite catchy.
Rap is the same 6 note beat for 3 minutes with the rapper talking about how hes so rich and raping and shit...

My older sister has a pretty decent taste in music, I don't have a younger sister. I have a little brother, but he's 3 so he doesn't really like music.
