The Newgrounds Edit Thread

Edit the content of Newgrounds!
This topic is simply for editing anything you can on newgrounds using Photoshop, Flash, or My Custom Method (explained below).

Here's Mine. (I had to link to it because the image would end up too small to see if I posted it here.) Awesome, huh? I did it using the method explained below.

MY CUSTOM METHOD!
To edit any newgrounds page (I'll use the forums, for example...), right click on the page and select "View Source". (or you can go to View > Source.)

The web site's HTML will appear in Notepad (or your default text editor) for you to edit as much as you want. Just scroll down and find something to edit. See the picture attached to this post to see what to do.

Then, go to File > Save As...

In the "Save As Type" dropdown box, make sure it says "Text Document (*.txt)".

In the "File Name" box, write "Front Page Joke.html". IT will save your file as an HTML document.

open your browser (I'm using Internet Explorer). Go to File > Open. Click "Browse".

Find the .html file you just saved.

Open the file.

Examine the page, and you should see your newly edited front page! See Mine for inspiration.

Have fun editing those web pages! And make sure to take a screenshot and post the image here, or on www.spamtheweb.com.

Yes it does, You just need to get rid of the spaces in it.

As for the spaces, it seems to work as it is, for me.

While this one may be quicker, with editing the webpage source, you can also change pictures.

Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages:

My method can change EVERYTHING on the web page (pictures, text, backgrounds, colors, etc.) But it is very very slow.

The quick method can only change text, and sometimes distorts the page.

So, I prefer mine. But, It doesn't really matter as long as you post your funny images in this thread!
