I think you have to approach it exactly like you did with that Goron catching earlier in the game. However you managed to do that, do it here but with Wolf Link.

You have to wait until an icon appears with "Press A", which is a few moments after he runs out of the portal (pretty much when he is right in front of you). If you press the A button sooner than that, it might not respond. Also, I think you should stand still. If you move around a bit the button might not work either.

Oh, sorry to have left this topic alive. I'm retarded and 22 yrs old, I must have gotten frustrated because I played the part later and easily beated it... I was dumb, I was holding down a button before the monster came forward, didn't realize you were suppose to press it and hold it down right when it came at you :)

Beat this game, and I still like Ocarina of time a shit load more then this game... I wish Ocarina of time had these graphics though

Oh be quiet, you know that you didn't beat this game without a youtube guide or some kind of game guide since the bosses are ridiculously easy to beat in the game but alot of the levels are like difficult mazes.

I didn't need a guide period. Everything in the game can be solved through common sense, and I as I stated before this game doesn't require much common sense at all.

Also, most Zelda franchises are kind of simular. So if you beaten one game, you can basicly beat all of them.

Your timing has to be perfect. I failed a lot on this boss too, but I eventually beat him. Hold A as soon as you see it appear on the screen, and keep it held.

So full of shit the people who said they beat this game without a guide. This game is freaking hard the mazes are hard in it, I have an iq of 112, not super smart but I should be smart enough to beat any game without a guide. This game is not like zelda ocarina of time, where I didn't have no stress at all and actually enjoyed beating that game. Sometimes smaller maze puzzles are funner because playing games that are trying to be ridiculously hard is not fun.

No this game could be beaten without a stradegy guide, but its not as easy as they are claiming, and they really dont have to be an ass about it.

That's the hardest part of the battle. Just position yourself correctly as the wolf, then hit "A" when it says to, then as human Link slash at him with the sword.

You don't HAVE to be regular Link again once you've got Ganon thrown down. It's still possible to run up to him as a wolf and go apeshit while he's down.

Also, I try targeting him and slowly backing up to get an easy target on him.

You're kidding right? I have 55 hours logged in. 55! That's barely 2.5 days and that's with every Heart Container, weapon, and most of the Poes. Just because you suck at this game because you can't figure out the simplest tactics doesn't mean we had to use a strategy guide.
