Yes, these all came up during the primaries and there's no way they're not going to be brought up again. I have a feeling they won't do much since I think another part about beng vice president is that you're more able to be recognized as someone who had the potential, just had too many background flaws, to be president. Also, the vp spot is a famous shouting post for the prez to negatively attack his opponent then denounce the comments for cheap shots.

However, on a more serious note, the vice president has two duties: helping the president get elected and taking over if the president dies. Otherwhise they don't do anything. Many presidents haven't even bothered inviting their vice presidents to cabinet meetings. The Vice Presidential office has little real power.

Experience does not a great leader make. If Experience was the issue of importance why was Obama picked out of all of the nominee's. Why is it fair to say that Obama's lack of experience is irrelevant for his presidency but Biden's Experience is an important and welcome addition, a testament to Obama's legitimacy.

Actually you're not... you're just missing the forest for the trees. Experience doesn't make a great leader, nor does great vision and/or the ability to rally the masses... but the COMBINATION of them usually does. And by bringing in a large dose of experience to compliment the vision/leadership of Obama, they make together a better ticket than the sum of the parts.
