The problem I have with my computer is too complex and severe for me to even attempt to explain it; I'll simply say this. I need a new copy of Windows Vista, but the motherfuckers cost about $250 and I just can't afford that right now. And without it, my computer cannot function.

Didn't your computer come with a copy?

If it's a newish computer than there should be a copy on it ready to be burned onto a disc.

Why not buy an empty computer and install linux? Save a ton of money right there for a better deal.
Or you could attempt to explain it and maybe somebody will happen to know that you did something stupid and it's not the computers fault.

I didn't read every message in this thread, so I don't know if this was already suggested, but you can use http://www.ubuntu.com. It's great. Or, you can use another Linux distribution, but Ubuntu is great.
