The price for Castle Crashers has been determined: 1200 points! On Wednesday, August 27th, Castle Crashers will finally be available on Xbox Live Arcade and you can see what I was working on for the past three years (in addition to NG).

Current.tv is inviting Flash artists to participate in a L'Oreal Ad Contest! I figured I would give this a plug, as a fan of Current and a friend of Dustball, who is one of the animators for their Super News segment.
I also still owe a few plugs to Sumo! They sent a bunch of SumoSacs to the office in exchange for our glowing endorsements (we really do love them). Go check out my post and picture from last month.

We'll be having our annual Halloween contest this year, with prizes and maybe some pumpkin carving like last year. You can snag the Halloween pre-loader at the bottom of our downloads page, although we should whip up a fun version that you can use with Flash Ads.
Bou1der has made a special request for everyone this year:
"As you know Holloween is just around the corner and artists are propably already working on their submissions for the big event. Some are funny and some are just weird and others just like the candy. Me, I'm all about the fear and terror that lets you know that you are still alive. So I'm here to ask you to ask all those making their submissions as scary as possible. I haven't been truly scared in a long time. I'm talking about the kind of thing as you lay there trying to go to sleep you can't just because you keep thinking about this one thing, some kind of primal fear, then once you finaly fall asleep it haunts your dreams, the kind of fear that has you looking over your shoulder once the sun is down. So can you put the word out, please? Bring the fear."
