And half the world isn't? News to me.
while true I don't think this is a valid counter point, when working on a problem one must start somewhere.
Because obviously all elderly are vegetables.
This I think Is a valid counter point.
Because they served their part in this world.
Served is a past tense word. When something stops being useful stop keeping it around.
Babies aren't helpful in society either.
A baby is an investment that hasn't matured yet. In other words they are useful later on. In contrast a crippled elderly is no longer useful and will never be useful again.
Raisins.
I don't understand.
I know, its horrible even for them to live the rest of their life!
True I for one want at least the illusion that I can live forever. I don't want to have a date that I know I wont live past. I know I wont live to the year 3000, but it's nice to at least be able to consider the very very very very slim possibility.
Because old people are awesome.
Well some of them are. And some of them make you wonder why god took the 7th day off instead of working. But that's the same for people of any age I suppose.
The real question is, why keep you around?
why do we keep YOU around? no wait before that why do we keep ME around. heck the reason why we keep any of us around eludes me. Do onto others as you would have others do unto you I suppose.
