Conspiracy Theory Watch list

The more I look into it the more I find out that for every single significant event disastrous or otherwise there is a large following of conspiracy theorists who believe that nothing it was it's seems and governments and corporations cannot be trusted.

I propose that we make this thread an official watch list for all of the various conspiracy theories that are being made and all of them that have existed for decades now. If you stumble upon a conspiracy theory that you would like to either discuss or just bring to our general attention post about it here. Or if you would like to talk about something that you think may be a conspiracy or a little fishy post it here.

The psychology of conspiracy theorists is actually pretty interesting. They come to a conclusion, often wrong, yet fanatically defend it no matter how much evidence goes against that conclusion. I mean, I've come to the conclusion from the evidence that Al-Qaeda is behind 911, but I'd have no problem changing my position and conceding the point if someone provided compelling evidence otherwise. But these conspiracy nuts never give up, they desperately need to have the gratification of knowing that they were right when everyone else was wrong.

Oh yes and I'm not at all surprised that Rosie O'Donnell said that the government orchestrated the 911 attacks. This is the same lady who says that we should stop teaching math in school, because we have computers that solve math problems.

I agree that things such as 9/11 should be heavily questioned. It is always good to question things, there is no argueing that. You have to be able to accept the answer though, and conspiracy nuts can't. They have to have something that only they know, that is this huge mystery THEY solved. They need to feel like they are above everyone else and in this tight little group of the people who see the "truth." It is really sad when you look at it. Read up on why people buy into conspiracies, it is pretty interesting.

My favorite is still that they are putting stuff in KFC chicken to make black men calm down or not have kids....something like that, I will try to find the link, it is a good one.

The more I read about this subject, the more I can't beleive it. Earth just can't be hollow is makes no sense, completely ridiclous it would crumble, and then theres the matter of volcanos and earthquakes. Man this is some pretty werid shit, that so many people can beleive this.

If there are actually any viable conspiracy theories I beleive that there on a much smaller scale, such as a marketing aspect. I for one have always though that bottled water is a big scam. I mean I remember when I was little going to your tap was how you got water, but all of a sudden there is mercury and poisons in that water and you should'nt drink it for fear of death, meanwhile we still wash our dishes and bath in the same water. I mean that just sounds a little to convenient of a market so suddenly.

yeah new world order can mean a lot of things such as democracy. its the same thing with UFOs if you see something flying in the air and you don't know what it is then it is a unidentified flying object to you although someone in a air control tower knows perfectly well what it is.

Speaking of the space race, though, when I was in high school I had a biology teacher who went out of his way to tell our class that the U.S.A. faked the first moon landing. What a dumbass. My grandfather was one of the engineers who helped calculate just how much of everything we would need to get to the moon. Oh well, I guess some people watch a little too much fox
