For the past few days, I've had a weird issue that is only happening on my computer with IE... A majority of the ads on NG are coming up blank. It isn't happening in Firefox and it isn't happening to anyone else that I know of, so I'm wondering if it's really just my computer, or if anyone else is getting mostly blank ads across the site?

I use IE and no ads come up blank for me. I don't know what the problem could be for your computer.

I mostly use IE because I want to know what the majority of the people are seeing when they browse NG. :)

There have been several threads about ads coming up saying "Forbidden" over the past month, but I believe the issue was with Firefox not IE.

True. But why not use both? Or do you have underground slaves that do that for you?

It was an issue a lot of people were experiencing about a week or two ago, including me.
But at the moment and for some time now all the ads are coming in as they should for me and apparently everyone else as I haven't had to delete a thread about it for a while now.

I would say that I no-longer have the problem of ads in my FF, but that's how NG makes it moneys.

I've been working on a website for this one association and I've found that IE and Firefox treat my CSS differently. So, I think I have something fixed on it and then the board meeting comes around and the fucking banner is shifted to the left 20 pixels because they're using some OTHER version of IE than what I tested it in.
Honestly, all of the different ways even different versions of the same fucking program treat all of this new and improved code that's out these days is ridiculous. It makes me long for the days of simple HTML and notepad.
Think you're pretty clever...

Don't worry about it unless something else happens, like the whole of Newgrounds doesn't appear for you.
Then you couldn't add anything else... We would be doomed!

Dude like 10 seconds ago the entire BBS came up as a blank screen. I hit back to go to the NG home screen, then tried to go into my account and then it also came up as a blank screen. I restarted safari and now it works but it was weird

I have an ad-blocker but it only blocks the top and bottom ad banners.
However the side-banners seen in Collections or elsewise are working just fine for me and I use IE7.
Nothing here anymore.

It wasn't a problem for me. I have Firefox with the Adblock plugin, which collapses all the ad frames. It helps load the page faster!
Besides, IE isn't that good of a browser. Stiff browser, if you ask me. I mean, Netscape can do better!

The ads used to come up blank for me, but recently they've been working fine.

I've gotten the restricted message in the ad spot a couple of times, but not that recently.
Some pages in NG won't load at all today though, it will just say "http://newgrounds.com/bbs/" and everything will be white, with refresh doing nothing. That's probably my fault though, and I haven't tried any other sites yet since I woke up.
all in firefox
