Some submitters think "OMG liek CONtest! gotata roll in yo! lololol" without thinking one minute serious about it. There's money involved after all so there should be at least a little BIT of quality.

lol yah i know what you mean. Some people can get so pissed off and wine just because their crap didn't make a contest! I know that I probably won't make it, I'm just hoping lol. But I entered because I am a madness fan and love it, and thought it would be fun to make a tribute song. Others are probably like "Oh a contest, I'll probably just watch one episode of Madness to get a quick idea then make a song!" That=fail lol. This contest is mainly for madness fans and I think really the ones who've followed Krinkels and his efforts all these years as well as the music have a good chance, unless they are really good at making music even though they watched one episode so they would still have a good chance I guess lol. But, in general folks, I guess the point is here unless you are a true musician that takes music seriously, and if you don't know madness, don't even bother submitting! I am looking forward to see who wins, it should be epic :). 1 more week!!!

We cannot extend the deadline, there is simply not enough time to get it all judged and shot out by the 22nd as was the plan. For this reason, no extension. We're sorry if you didn't get your song done on time, maybe next time :(

On that note.

We will try again with a FREE FOR ALL judge fling. Anybody and everybody is allowed to judge, all you have to do is send me, or LJCoffee, or Rucklo your top 10 submissions. Remember not to cheat because there are safety nets in place to detect foul play *like seriously, if I get one more judge entry from somebody who made their account just yesterday to "help" i'm going to BAN EVERYBODY FOREVER >:(!!!!*

There are thankfully not 100 billion submissions so judges if you want to leave comments go nuts, you are under no obligation to share them or make them public if you don't want to.

WE WILL NEED A SIG MAKER, prepare themselves for the 22nd when the winner is announced. If all goes to plan *which is NEVER DOES*, the sig maker should know well ahead of time who it is, and we can be ready for it.
