4.09 / 5.00 12,195 ViewsAlright, so last night I drew this character and it took me a few minutes to draw him, I was wondering how would be the best way to animate him? If I drew him again and again then for like 5 frames it would probably take me like 30 minutes... Maybe I should like, draw him and then break him apart and convert everything to a symbol like I read in a tutorial... The only thing is that when I see animations like that then the animation does not look too good... I have included a picture of him... Now does anyone have any advice or have a link to a tutorial to help me out... Thanks
the best animation is frame by frame animation. Invest the time to draw every frame. If you wish to save time, then go with the cut out style Animation. There really is no easy/super fast way to do quality animation. Just practice makes you better.
sorry for the double post but I forgot to add that a less detailed character the faster and easier he is to animate,(so keep this in mind) also when you draw, click the draw in shapes option in the brush options menu, this will speed things up as well.
Hah, that was quick... Lol, thanks dude... Although, I'm not exactly sure about the brush shape thngs... But anyways, I found out what I needed to know, so hopefully you will be seeing this character around newgrounds soon :D... Cya
