This is all highly relative to region, if you live in some suburb in Michigan or the mountains of Colorado or something than I doubt you'd notice much. If you live in a strictly urban part of a major city than you should have already noticed that you are the minority, particularly if you live somwhere like me where the houses are small and stuck togethor. If you live in the american southwest I would imagine you already know some hispanics, or could at least find some in a jiffy.

Maybe by 2082 we might have some real worries.

Well I am half white would I count as minority? But anyway the U.S. is a melting pot of all kinds of races, no one can say that it is good or bad.

What do you mean by worries? I see no problem in this. All elementary school I was one of two white kids in a class of 30 and I never gave a shit. This thread has shown some racism on the BBS. Also the person who started this thread isnt American why should he care?

I mean the same worries of all minority groups in any place during any time. I went to black schools too, and some of my best freinds are black, but I still got harrassed and had to do alot of fighting because of the color of my skin. It is what it is.

I understand where you are coming from but you seem to be afraid that random minorties like blacks and hispanics will make fun of you for being white as you walk down the street. Sure I was made fun of in school but everyone matured and got over it and it was fine.

For Latinos, it's a stereotype that has some of it's roots in misconceptions.
I mean, you're talking about peoples who work manually and in the fields in a hot climate. So they wake up around 4 to 5 in the morning to start working before the break of dawn. Which makes sense because working in heat is hazardous.

Then the siesta, which happens around the time when the United States normally start waking up when they're having their well deserved rest. And, well duh, the Americans are like, "lazy Americans..." I mean, for the US... the day normally starts at 7 to 9AM in the mornings. But for Latinos, the day is already half way finished!

I believe I read somewhere that Mormons are the fastest growing group of people in America. And they're 100% white. Most Mormons I know come from large families.

Really why do any of us care about race? Oh no the white man won't be in power? I don't remember anyone in particular who was in a major seat of power simply for being white. More black more Hispanics, who the fuck cares?

To be fair, wouldn't this just be a largely localized effec though.

Under the guise of our Federalist states, such area's of the country like New England and the Midwest are still going to be thier predominantly white area's in the country, all that's going to happen is the area where Hispanics or Blacks congregate (The Southwest and South) are just going to get more.

So unless there is another great migration, all we will have is just differing variety for each area.

In my school district, whites are already a minority.

Those costs are minimal. Specially with the size of the American Economy. If you went beyond race, you'd see that you are actually investing in the future of Americans.

Hispanic means that he is of Spanish descent; it has nothing to do with race. Actually most Spanish are white.
Latino means that he was born in Latin America, so it's not really a race either.

I think this thread is a play on words. We (USA) consider a person who has any percentage of Black or Hispanic in them 'that' race.

White + White = White
Black + Black = Black
White + Black = Black
Light Black + White = Black

Unless someone of black decent is so tan they look a different race, they will never be considered white. So if we consider every partial Black or Hispanic person 'that' race, then of coarse whites will be considered the minority!

Yeah I tend to see more light brown African-Americans from the US than I do black African-Americans. There is quite a startling difference between their skin colours.

They should make a new group for "mixed" so that we can see how well the purebloods are doing. :P
