Why are there no manners in games?

Every time i play CoD4 or Halo 3, and there is a map that a player does not wish to play, they always just keep repeating "Skip. Skip. Skip. Skip".

Or they will just start to insult everyone who doesnt skip. "Everyone who doesnt skip is gay," Personally, this makes me avoid skipping, not for the joy of being homosexual, because i am pleased with my hederosexuality, but because i dont respond to rudeness.

If anyone in a lobby just said "Please" i would skip no matter what map it is. Even if its my favorite map as long as you say the magic word then i will skip it.

I tell the people in the lobby that all they have to do is say please instead of repeating "Skip", and for the most part they will do it that once, but we really need to bring manners back into these games.

just do what I do and turn put your mic up to your pc speaker while it's playing rick roll or something and just leave it on repeat throughout the entire game.

I do. Kinda thought the smiley would work. I guess it didnt. I actually think its funny to hear these people say the dumbest stuff just because they do not like the map that the game has given them. They usually quit if you dont skip anyway so it is also fun to watch them leave just because they hate the map with all of their being.
