It's pretty funny how people are so ignorant off their ass they automatically associate Texas with rednecks and cowboys as if this makes it surprising that Texas could achieve something like that. Never mind that Texas is actually very wealthy, highly educated, and has contributed enormously in technology, science, and medicine... probably more than other entire major countries. They have an excellent education system, and their universities have some of the best research programs in the world.

But hey, it's more convenient to only think about Texas as dumb people with accents and cowboy hats. So continue on in your ignorance, ignorant ones.

i think they think everyone in texas lives in one of those small towns

I don't think many people actually think that way, they just like pissing off fellows like yourself. Having been to Texas, I know for a fact it isn't all Cowboys and ranches, but it is funny as hell to think of it that way.

Also, this is not an insult toward Texans, they're people like anywhere else, they have their share of idiots and geniuses, like any group of people large enough. The vaccine (if effective) still won't fully eliminate HIV/AIDS from the system, it'll just supress all chance in hell of growing. And to be fully imune from the virus you have to get the vaccine before getting HIV, and if the vaccine proves expensive (In the US anyway) the healthcare providers could turn down coverage.
