anyways the picture looks like it has different perspectives to it.
Now I know they are probably telling you that you should do everything freehand (without a ruler)... so maybe pay extra attention to it next time.

I guess it's confession time again. I did use a ruler, but i got sloppy when I was shading. Most noticeably, the glass edge of the tall bottle on the top right side wasn't quite so rounded until my hand slipped.

those things just are so noticable to the human eye... it really sucks.

Don't I know it. It's amazing what mistakes I saw after a week and a fresh look at that ad.

Thanks man. Most of the people that have seen it have said the same thing about the missing pieces.

Is this highly symbolic, or am I just overthinking things? Either way, I like it. It looks nice.

Haha. I can see think that, but no it isn't symbolic at all. The assignment was to break up a portrait in an interesting way, and this is what I happened to come up with.

I figured I may as well post this WiP since I'm at a stopping point.

My white color pencil's lead decided to break, and my other one is MIA. Shit.

The chickadee is finally coming together. The wing looks messy, though.

The wing does look a little wonky, but the texture is fantastic, looks very fluffy

I'm glad you think so. After staring at it all day, I'd began to wonder about that.

I envy your skills, sidenote, that'd make a fantastic christmas present if you'd be willing to give it to someone.

I wouldn't

That's actually exactly what I'm planning to do. I made it for my grandma.

It beats the hell out of a scented candle.

I don't know how easy or hard it is to paint faint smoke, but I think this could use some ghostly smokiness

also gengar is better

I honestly haven't decided what I'm going to do for the background, so smokiness is definitely on the table.

What are you talking about? Haunter is the shit.

So this is what I've been working on for school lately.
I painted on the background with water color; it is supposed to represent the frog's skin. I drew the leafs and the frog on with color pencil.

Fantabulous, as always.
How'd you get such bright clear colors with colored pencil?

Why, thank you.

Lots and lots of blending with white and some color called pale sage.

This is a quick sketch I made for ceramics so my teacher would know what i want to make for my next project. I know it's not exactly anatomically correct, but it got the job done.

I had fun pretending my hand was a spider.

So I made a fountain this past six weeks, too. Some of the glaze ran, but I still like it.
