I've never listened to Linkin Park intentionally.
Disturbed's first two albums were great, but 10000 fists and the latest one aren't nearly as heavy. Dragonforce is face melting metal... who can withstand the power? The only reason I can see anyone even remotely objecting to listening to Dragonforce is because their lyrics aren't very dark, and thus not as metal as possible, but their style is epic fantasy metal, not black growling...

Well for me all these bands are annoying. Disturbed is over played. And as much as I love guitar solos, Dragonforce most of the time you go to far. Linkin Park I did like at one point but they seem to have grown whiny. I mean they were always kind of whiny but recently the whining seems to have increased. The best band in my opinion is SYL.

It's easy DRAGONFORCE can't play live, and have no musical talent apart from Herman who can rape a guitar sideways.
Linkin Park are a bunch of whiney emos that can't write songs unless it's "OMG life sucks" from their album "CRY MOAR".
Disturbed I don't mind because I like 10,000 fists. The vocalist's not bad either.
Also, you can't find a video saying "Distrubed suck" in 5 seconds on Youtube, but you can find videos about DF and LP.

Ok, so your just perpetuating the death of music by viewing all genres through your foggy glass of mediocrity. To address your claim that Dragonforce, or even speed metal as a whole, is repetitive I will ask you another question:

Do you believe that Classical music is repetitive?

Maybe you're trying to ascertain as to whether or not we Share the same musical taste... but its impossible for somebody to not have musical taste.
Dont get so emotional over dragonforce, its a single band.. they dont judge whether or not my musical taste is good or not. Im simply saying Many of their songs sound exactly alike, and they arent enjoyable to listen to for more than say... 3 songs in a row..

Linkin Park is horrible and Dragonforce constantly filter to make themselves sound good so they're also shit. I don't have much of a opinion on Disturbed because I've only heard of one of their songs but they sound like a band that have become totally overrated since all I see is people talk about them.

How about getting into real music?
