I was just watching Invader Zim on Surf the Channel, and was wondering, did they ever make more than one season? Why was it cancelled to begin with? It was such a great, funny show.

Additionally, who would you say was your favorite character? Mine would be GIR.

IZ was canceled after 27 episodes. I forgot why. I'll listen to the commentary on one of the DVD's because I remember Johnen explaining the reason. I loved GIR. So much.

20 episode first season, 7 episode second season, 6 of which remained unaired until 2006. There would have been more 2nd season episodes but once a network pulls the plug, it's pretty hard to go back.
