I had a brain concusion that damaged my cerebrum and its probably not going to be cured, i feel almost no emotion and alot of pain is taken away, so when I listen to this song it helps me deal with it. (there is no pain you are receding.... hello? is there any body in there?) i feel like my brains been hollowed out so the lyrics make sence.

Prison sex - Tool. only the video I relate to, my connection with god feels like this.

Yes, but many songs can be unique and specific, I could go into more detail on why mind do but I dont like typing that much.

Haha nice. Yeah, Ive lost alot of my dreams with it, so did the singer in the song, the dream is gone etc. It really does feel comfurtable.... but numb. Never heard of them, maybe I will check them out, Im trying to find some songs as well as see why people connect with them. Its alot easier than randomly searching limewire.

Two songs come to mind.

First, CCR - Someday never comes. I haven't seen my father since the day he left over 5 years ago. Perhaps I'll understand someday why everything turned out the way it did, but just as the song implies, someday never comes and I'll probably never understand. In the meantime, I just have to try to be a man (so the lyrics say). Heh, and just like the last part of the song implies, don't ask me how, I can actually envision walking out on my own kid someday.

As for the second song, Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Pretty much sums up my mental state :P.

Interesting. I myself have always thought of feelings as a distraction and such. I'm addicted to rational thinking and always attempt to analyze everything thoroughly before doing anything. And... With time I learned how to keep emotions at a distance, so that they don't bother me. Actually that's quite funny, cause as a kid I was over-sensitive.

But I learned it too well, right now I can't feel almost anything. I'm "closed in my mind". It probably sounds very odd, but... Is that what you mean?

I think I can refer to the very same song.

Also, "The Raven" by Omnia is something that in some way is connected to the way I perceive myself.
