It's the developer's fault if a game sucks, not EA's. EA isn't the one making these games, they only pay to have them mass produced and shipped out.

As long as they don't make any stupid demands with Left 4 Dead and make Red Alert 3 I have no problem with them, in fact after "my sims" on the Wii I kinda thought they deserved a second chance

That game was just TOO cute :)

Developer: Hey we're going to need a few more months to really get this game going.
Publisher: We need it out next month.
Developer: That's not enough time.
Publisher: Then work out the bugs you can and deal with it, we need it out before Q1234.

my friend bought nhl 2k8 thinking it was like the ps3 demo but the actual game was just like 2k7. no, not just like it, it was 2k7, just a different name. there should be a standard for games.

I never hated EA games, they just sell a lot of crap.

I don't know, EA is still having secuROM and that is a pain in the fucking ass, they bought off some companies, and soon will be trying to take over 2k, which will remove all sports games competition. But, they did make or publish some good games.

I would really get pissed at them if they bought off Valve. And EA doesn't really publish any Valve games, only the console versions. Valve develops and publishes the PC version.

The only reason I actually hate EA is because they completely erased the multiplayer portion of Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 from the Australian release, because they couldn't be arsed setting up servers for Aussies... the fact that they make a tonne of crap games is not too much of a problem for me, since I'm not stupid enough to buy their bad ones. But deliberately low-blowing us Aussies is just not on.
