Who deserves to play The Joker?

okay so obviously Heaths mindblowing performance as the Joker and his TERRIBLY timed passing has given rise to the questions: who will be the new joker? who deserves such a significant role? who is good enough to handle it?

no one can ever compare to ledgers performance
but i want your opinions on who should be the next joker

i say Daniel Day Lewis
he is such an amazing actor/and his methods of getting into character are similar to heaths
i think he'd be the only one to pull off the role- to pull of the swagger, the vocie, the sheer madness

what do you think?

There won't be another chance for the Joker to be played unless they decided to remake the films again in like 20 years or so. It'll probably be someone we don't know about.

I think I heard somewhere that they were casting Johnny Depp as the riddler, although sources may be weak.

As for the joker I don't think Jim Carey could do it since he was the riddler previously and the Austin powers guy wouldn't play the role good.

Johnny Depp doesn't have the character for the Joker anyway, but he might be able to pull back Jim Carreys poor performance as the riddler.

There shouldn't be a Joker in the 3rd Batman. Nobody would be able to match Ledger's performance, and it would completely do injustice for anyone to even attempt.
