I need help. I'm having problems with my entire Adobe Creative Suite. I cannot open any of the programs, they are listed on my profile page. When I attempt to open flash, illustrator and any other of the programs, nothing happens, after nothing happens Vista opens a little window telling me that it won't open. Instead of telling me why this is it just tells me that there's an issue and Windows will try and find an answer. Nothing else.

I'm pretty pissed off because I just can't find a solution, I'm not given any information as to how I could go about solving things.

I tried rebooting many times. I've tried reinstalling. I've scanned my computer several times with several programs. I've even tried calling Adobe's technical support but I cannot talk to an actual person until the working days.

Recently, after attempting to open flash once more, I was given a small piece of information! I have no idea how it will help me but it's all I've got. Screeny below.

I haven't had access to flash for about a month. Help me :(

Run a google search with details about those files included

Or take alook at the files, it might give you some sort of clue

Maybe you don't have enough memory?

All programming problems can be solved with Arrays!

Have a read of the text files it mentions to see if you can gather something from that.

Other than that, it could be a memory issue which having vista, doesn't help. If you have read the text files and they are still no help, then make sure when trying to run the programs you close everything in the background.

I'm not getting anything from Windows telling me my Virtual Memory is too low. My RAM is 1GB and things shouldn't lag too much as I have the old windows theme enabled. However I have a lot of processes running, I'm not really keen on disabling some either as last time I attempted I got the Blue Screen, I could do it properly and check all the .exe names to check if their needed but first I'll see if there is a certain solution.

I just took a look... None of them exist!?

Maybe I just lost those files and need to download them or something...

They are temp files so its possible that they could have been deleted after a while but to be sure run a search and make sure you can view hidden files.

All hidden files/folders are shown and I searched 'Everywhere' for the files with no results on Windows Search.

Having looked on Google at other 'WER****' file errors, most of them involve the Blue Screen or that dump thing.

Nope... No temp folder in the Adobe AppData, I check the Local, LocalLow and Roaming.

Looks like I might have to go through all of my processes to speed things up, but that wouldn't explain why these Temp folders are involved.

Oh wait, while writing this I've come across something Adobe's roaming AppData called 'logs' inside it has a notepad file called AISuitePea. It looks like a log of some occurring errors all the way back from August '07.

All the way from then I have about 3000 error reports one or more times from every session on Flash... They read:

===== Wed Aug 22 2007 ===== 19:00:44 GMT Daylight Time =====
Aug 22 19:00:44 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
Aug 22 19:00:44 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
Aug 22 19:00:44 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
Aug 22 19:00:44 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
Aug 22 19:00:45 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)

...All the way to...

May 22 20:12:01 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
May 22 20:33:31 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
May 22 20:33:31 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
May 22 20:33:31 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
May 22 20:33:31 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
May 22 20:33:31 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)
May 22 20:33:36 SuitePea Threw error 1394689636 (dF!S)

May 22 must have been when I last used it. I better try and find out what that error is...

I'm confused

Damn, hopefully the flash not running issue isn't related to the errors on the log file :(

I'm glad you could help.

Anyway, I have no idea what to tell you. My flash still works so it can't be an error affecting all Flash (like a problem with Adobe or something.) My suggestion is that you don't try to mess with anything as you may just make it worse and wait for their working days. I'm assuming they work weeks, so you only have to wait till tomorrow.

Hope this helped

Yeah, better safe than sorry I suppose. The annoying thing is, flash decides not to work when I'm most creative and have lots of free time >:(

Okay, even more odd things that could hint towards a solution...

Every time I start the computer after shutting it down completely or restarting it (not sleep mode or hibernation) the window shown below on the bottom appears. So I accept the option to restart in the hope that the update will fix problems... however after restarting, when I'd thought everything was done, the window popped up again. Confused, seeing as I'd already apparently installed the information, I chose to restart again. The pop-up appeared on re-boot yet another time.

I was curious as to what the pop-up was for, it may have been for anything, but sure enough; I opened Task Manager (top) and found it was 'Adobe Updater'.

Maybe during an update, the files became corrupt or something.

It's about 5 or 6 posts on and still, no real progress apart from a few bits and pieces. If anyone has any knowledge on how to solve this: Post!

Screeny below.

But, in that case a complete reinstall should do the trick? And I presume you already did that?

Yeah Knugen, I've reinstalled it. I'm not sure if completely uninstalling and then installing again will make a difference but it doesn't matter too much right now as I'll be able to call technical support soon :)
