Tankmen Game Beta Video

Hey everyone, since my revealing of the Tankmen Game i have been making, i have been getting alot of Requests for a Video..so I decided to Rustle up a quick video of some of the Beta Footage...I simply assembled a few clips together and threw music in the background, its 02:51am at the minute so im alittle tired and didnt want to spend alot of time on it.

For People who are not familiar with the game, The Tankmen Game i am making is a Team based Third person shooter. Things to expect in the final game are:

10 vs 10 Team based Battles
Multiple Weapons,Tanks and Items.
Special Perks to Assign to your character before battles
Multiple Game Modes
2 Player Split Screen
Random Hilarious Soldier Comments During battle.

Should have the ability to 1st and 3rd, also fix the walking animation. Otherwise pretty good. Also the ground is orange. Also for weapons there needs to be a dildo. And for the screen containing information, don't have blue or green. Have orange and black, or jsut orange.

Hmm, I'm no game developer, but I have a common sense on somethings.

Make some particle effects, sometimes it's the small things that make up the big picture. Could I ask for more than, "Shoot that mix of pixels in the distance, I think thats the enemie!". A few more strategic points, I know it is a runied landscape, but where is the rubble!

And, NO TANKS! WTF IS RONG W/ U!

Wow, that honestly looks like it'll be really cool, once it's finished.

But some advise. The charters look like Legos. I don't recall them looking so fat and short. Try making them look more skinny. Like they actually are. Maybe a bit taller?

Maybe even have the ability to change colors and helments on the charaters.

Also, the walking animation could use some work. It looks a bit "Clunky".

Keep it up man. This could turn out to be really cool.

I haven't been keeping up with this project, but is this running flash? If not, what programming language are you running it in, and are you going to make it multi-platform (Mac, Linux)? Depending on the language, I'm pretty sure someone could help you with the online multiplayer. One other thing that I personally would like to see in this game is LAN play.

Muchos Gracias... I must say... I did indeed enjoy this... can't wait to be able to play it... is this just a PC game or is it gonna be for consoles? Is this a behemoth production?

Hey everyone thanks for all your comments, The hardest part to a game is making the Engine, the graphics and animation will be 2nd priority. Most of the stuff you seen will be completely changed by the time the game is finished. TO answer a few peoples questions this is only for PC, it isnt made on Flash OR shockwave, It will never be going to xbox or ps3, I dont have a team of people making this game, im simply making it on my own on my free time.

Online play is Possible but very difficult to fine tune, LAN would be alot easier as there is alot of data packets sent through very quickly. when its Online, it depends on How many people is connected, everyone elses uploadingdownloading speeds and if traffic is heavy , 2 player online is quite simple but 20 player online and trying to send that many packets. For now it will only be 2 player splitscreen, but later updates of the game may include some sort of LAN or Online play.
