When I turn on my Wii the power light turns green and the TV screen turns from blue (what it usually is) to black so I know the the connections work but the " Press A " screen never comes on it just stays like that, just black. What do I do? Is there anyway to just reset my Wii I don't care If I loose all my saved data I just want my Wii to work. Please help.

Have you tried calling a support number instead of asking people that probably have no idea?

The medical term for this would be "Erectile Dysfunction" or ED. I advise you going to see your doctor to see what he suggests. Viagra is often taken for your problem, but there are other methods. Hope you get better soon.

I'm an Xbox lover, but you're just making us look bad.
As for the Wii, it might be a problem with your harddrive. I recommend either pulling your Wii open and voiding the warranty and just hitting things, or call support.

Plug something else into your TV.
(DVD player, anything that has the same kinda cables)
Test it, see if it shows on the TV, and see if it's the TV rather than the Wii.
If it's the TV, change it for another one, or buy a new one
It it's the Wii, make sure the signal cables are plugged in, and wiggle them around if they are plugged in.

So you're saying if an Xbox isn't left unattended it WON'T catch on fire, DESTROY your disk, BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN, make you pay 5 SMACKERS a MONTH to do something a COMPUTER can, ACCESS INTERNET, and get RED RING OF DEATH. And it ALSO makes me TYPE IN CAPS every other WORD of EMPHASIS!

Uhm... First off, unplug your dig from your T.V. What the fuck were you thinking?!
Seriously though, This has happened to my brothers, Were you browsing the web on your Wii? you might have gotten a virus, and if thats not the case did you drop it? like farely high? If so you might have scratched the drive, if that's the case your fucked, if you just have a virus Nintendo sometimes sends a Cd you can use to revert your WII to the state it was at when you bought it , If you can't find it then pray to the gods theres a reset button, Look around any areas with openable flaps that oyu can normally open with out a screw driver, look for a small resesced button, and hit it, if that doesn't work thensorry you have to use tech support :(
Theres a difference between me and you, I for one don't give a shit about you, and you... well you think I should.

They should've named the Wii something else to avoid innuendo. Like "Perfect Nintendo Entertainment System," or "PNES" for short

Check all the cables are right in, and press the av button on your remote for the tv a few times to see if you can find it. I know I have to cycle through a few times before I get the full screen up with the "press A to continue", even though I get the sound etc. on other channels.
