Actually, just a few days ago I got bumped from my flight. I was put on a direct one and upgraded to first class as compensation. It was great... naturally, for bumping me, I ate as much of their free food as I could.

I flew from Sydney to LAX just a week ago in economy and oh god I would have loved to be in first class.

I normally do the most discounted flights possible, but when I fly with my dad we go first class because he flies a lot and is a Platinum member and is top on the list for upgrades. If I flew a bit more, I would definitely splurge for the American Airlines Admiral's Club.

That place is like living the shittiest shithole in the world (the Miami Airport) and entering into heaven complete with free booze.

Anyway, La Guardia to LAX is what.... a 6... 7 hour flight? You're really lucky to be in first class.

no. im not lucky. as soon as we got on, we saw the 1st sucks on american airlines. i mean SUCKS! The food sucked, there was NO TV! not even a radio! and i had to sit next to some californian dude. Then we get off at st.louis and eat good food. then we get on a flight to LA, and it sucks. a regualar seat is the equivalent! the seats were LITERALLY torn up and scratcehd, the plane was delayed because someone took a huge shit, and the movie we had to watch from the aisle.....yeah from the aisle, and in 1st class, was kung fu panda.

I think im better of with 1st class on delta. we aer NEVER taking AA again.

I got first class on trip to Dominican Republic, but we payed for it and it was ruined by some mouthy chick making out with her boyfriend, literally sat on his lap, then she had a go at my little brother because he got the last pot noodle and she wanted one. Just turned round, glared at him and my mum and said "this is your fault."

We found she didn't go to the same hotel, thank god.

I don't give a shit, at least you go on a fucking vacation. I've never been out of Cali in my life, appreciate that you're actually going somewhere. Shit food? Bring your own. No TV? Don't care. No radio? Big deal. Be lucky you have traveled around the world because many can't afford that.
