TankMan Game Revealed

Okay so i have finally decided to Spill the beans with the Tankman Game i have been making. In the Next Month(hopefully) i am hoping to have a Demo ready for Playing.

My tankman game will be a 3rd Person team based Shooter, Each Team has 10 Soldiers, Good tank men and the Bad Tank men, Im not going to give away Much of the Exact Details but here is some Bullet Points on what to expect.

10 vs 10 Team based Battles
Multiple Weapons,Tanks and Items.
Special Perks to Assign to your character before battles
Multiple Game Modes
2 Player Split Screen
Random Hilarious Soldier Comments During battle.

This is what should be expected in the Full game.

I posted a Screen shot of the Work in Progress Demo,This doesnt Represent what the final game will look like, still alot to add and a screenshot never justifys actual game play..in saying that in a few weeks i will post a Video of the game in action.

No, Third person means the camera is behind your player, First person like in FPS (Firstpersonshooter) is when you see through the eyes of the player.

No, it's where the camera is centered around one character from a distance, as opposed to first-person which is from the point of view of the character.

Dont worry lad, they say funny things all the time, Random quotes from the Flash and my own made up ones..Like if they see enemys nearby sometimes they will Shout "Aim for there Dicks!".

This wont be for console, Im making this game in my free time for fun, it wont take a year to make, but it will take a while for the full game to be finished..but i will be releasing the Demo very soon.

Also alot of people might be dissapointed but this isnt Made in flash or shockwave and its for pc.

No, those are real-time strategy games. The usually have a top-down perspective.

As im the only person making this game at the minute, Making it online would definetly take alot of extra time and trial and errors, for now tho its 2 player split screen multiplayer, Tho Online is Definetly possible.

I asked him for permission and he was happy enough as long as i dont make profit from it and staying true to my word, This game will be Completely Free.

I suggest you make a single player version first
And then improve on it to release one for online

Thats exactly what i have done, Im working on the single player, all the other players are computer controlled Ai. The demo will only be single player, the final game will have the 2 player split screen.
