How rich or powerful do you have to be to be assassinated vs just being murdered? Where do you draw the line.

I don't think you really have to be either of those, just someone with a loud voice that someone doesn't agree with, you don't really have to be powerful or rich to be heard. Sure it would help but eh, people will kill if they don't agree with what someone is saying. Especilly if they are spreading hate about someone.

Assassins are hired killers, who usually don't have a grudge against a particular person, but can easily kill anyone for a strict purpose. You don't have to be a political figure to be assassinated, you just have to be targeted by someone who's killing you for money or fame.

A murder is a murderer murdering someone.

I remember making a thread like this back in December... Had to do with a discussion we got into in English class that day.

But anyways, an assassination has to be someone with a high degree of visibility and influence. If I were to go out and kill Britney Spears, it wouldn't be an assassination (it would be visible, but she has little real "influence" apart from tabloid shit), but if I were to kill the President of Nigeria (for allowing all those 419 scams to be sent to my e-mail address), it would be an assassination. The line is drawn a little before you hit Oprah, I think, so Oprah would be an assassination since she's got plenty of visibility and influence.

and murder if the person is fighting with the other person and eventually gets killed in the struggle.
