An amazing game of laser tag

I just had the most fun I've had in a long time. Me and my friend went to this place called Lasertron, and it had the most badass laser tag I've ever played. It was so much fun.

What was better is that there was a ton of people, 46 in total, 23 people to each team. The teams were randomized. I ended up being the team leader of my team, and my friend was on the other team haha.

Basically since we had 23 people I split it up like this: Four people took the top left, four people took the bottom left, and same on the right side. The remaining seven guarded the base. When an offensive group came back to recharge we'd switch off the teams and go in again.

We won all four matches. It was incredibly fun. :)

What sucks is that it's only here in New York... Or at least it's not in Minnesota where I live, and I'm going home tomorrow. So I wont be able to have this much fun with laser tag again in a long time. Oh well. It was an epic experience. :D

Here where I live in Ny, they have a lasertag place made out like a video game, where you can pick up power ups, funniest thing is the announcer screaming KILLING SPREE!!! FRENZY!!! AMAZING! Over all the game, You get power ups like Super strenght, and far shooting. and Mother fuckin rikochet that made it that much more fun.

Can you give me a link to their site please? Sounds really fun. NYC paintball offers lazertag with paintball guns (make everything but the flying paint, +stinging) but it's for people 10and under.

Haha that's awsome! Every once in awhile on ours random players on each team would get either "Force-Field Mode" or "Invisibility Mode," which made it quite interesting.

Haha yeah back home we have a shitty little laser tag place which is somewhat fun, but nowhere NEAR as fun as the one here. Luckily everyone playing was pretty old. The youngest kid was like 13-14 or something. Most of them were at least like 16, and capable of grasping basic strategy. :D

Well, I would think so. The laser tag place I've been to--the only place I've been to--I know has the structures made of wood flooring, with chicken wire walls encased in plaster or papier mache.

Sounds sort of like Timesplitters but played out in real life. If i ever go to NY one day i may check that place out if u give me a name.

I've played laser tag once, it was with my uncle, his wife, and his kids, but it was still fun.
His youngest kid, who pretty much idolizes me, was pretty good. He plays shooter and stuff, so it's to be expected. Laser tag is always fun, but, I was to play paint ball next.

The laser tag place near me is super small. I've played 4v4 in it and I think that's the max. The fact is, the place is super shitty, all it is is a room with walls. No hideaways or anything of that sort, very depressing the first time I entered it.

We had an awesome lasertag place near where I live. The entire place was huge, and awesome looking with smoke effects and great lighting. There were destroyed cars everywhere that you could hide in, and a bunch of places for cover if you were under fire. But, the best part was a huge tower that people would go in and snipe in. There were several holes to stick your gun through and fire out, and it offered a ton of cover. People would always try to assualt the tower and kill you, and it was fun as hell.

They closed it down because it didn't have good business(mabye because it was right next to a strip club, which doesn't make since, I mean, getting to see nekkid ladies and owning in laser tag afterwards? Who doesn't like that?) but sadly it did. Well, it had other shit like batting cages, and minigolf and Go-Karts, which actually has a funny story behind it.

Once, I was driving around, and some dick heads surrounded me and ran into me. Oh, I was pissed, but I couldn't get my go-kart started. Well, there are these people in towers who overlook the course to make sure people don't do crap like that. I yelled to him" can you help me get this kart started?" he ran over to help me out. Just as he almost was over to my kart, some of those teenagers from earlier came over and ran over his foot, breaking it. It was funny.

Our laser tag area isn't as big as what you had (I'd say about 15 people per team), but we had about 3 stories worth of obstacles. The place is massive. Free for all is bad ass too.

When I was in middle school/ high school, we used to do "all nighters" that our laser tag area had. $20 to get in, free food, and from 12am to 7am we played. I used to get 1st/ 2nd all the time, but I haven't played in... at least 3 years...

Paintball sort of took over laser tagging :)

We were 12 and 15, and the rest of our team were between 6 and 9. They were all small. We thought we were doomed. But we were wrong. We won, by far. The kids just charged into the arena, and they were so short, you got tagged before you even saw them. They hid well, and we made sure to cover their backs. Since they were young, we also had the biggest team.

Nice. I personally hate playing with little kids for precisely that reason. I always end up getting pissed and wanting to punt them across the room, but instead I just keep my eye on them and then shoot them once my vest reactivates.

Shit man, that's AWSOME! We paid 14$ for a half hour (Which included four five minute games and getting ready and such). Those games did NOT feel like five minutes though. It was so intense it felt like fifteen minutes easy per game.

Haha agreed. Although we had no tunnels (Well, it was two levels, so I guess technically the entire lower level was a tunnel), or flaps or inflatable things. Still tons of fun though.

Yes, tiz me! I am still going to make the video. I take a series of planes home tomorrow (Yay for seven hour flights... Well including waiting in airports), and my friend wants to help with the video. I expect it'll be done by either Sunday, Monday, or at the latest Tuesday. But that's irrelevant to this topic.

Yeah we got printouts afterwards too. However in their rules they were like "NO COVERING VESTS!" Plus that's just cheap anyway. It wouldn't really help at this one though, because there were targets on the front, shoulders, back, AND the gun itself.

Dude that sounds absolutely amazing! I really would love to play laser tag in an enviornment like that. Sounds totally awsome. :D

Well graphics wouldn't really matter, as the room was very dark... there was neon lights and such everywhere, and even fog on the lower level that dispersed up at the top.

Whenever you hit someone the vest would go "NICE SHOT!" and emit a sound if you were getting hit as well.

Yeah that's what the one near my house is like. It sucks. Now if I play there it'll just be depressing because of the awsomeness I've experienced here lol.

Theres a laser tag a half-hour bus ride from here, its not too big but theres always at least 3 people there. And between games the announcer gives you prizes for answering trivia and whatnot. Its good stuff.
