Summarize the BBS

The General Section of the BBS, is where most people would come to have a friendly and logical conversation with others. But sadly, the closest thing to that would be "OMFG!!! U FAGAUT!!! i HAT U!!! U SCK TEH LFE!!!!" and defending yourself in this situation would label you an Emo, however, should you choose to not defend yourself you will be called a pussy, as such "Awww, is your pussy hurting?"

The Flash section was constructed for the simple purpose of asking and answering questions concerning the Flash program. Sadly, when ever this forum section is ever put to proper use, the original poster will be labeled a retard immediately.

The Art forum was constructed for the soul purpose of expressing art to one another. Sadly, this forum section is only used so other's may take "a big steaming shit" on your artwork regardless of it's quality or it's actual appearance. But the responses do not tend to come in random screaming gestures. They come in a proper, therefore hurtfull manner, such as: "It's a waste of space" or "do somthing better with your time" or "Why do you even waste your time making this load of crap? The only reason anyone would have for making art is just so they can get attention. I believe that there's a name that perfectly describes this, I believe it's, attention whore." Also, should someone from the General or Flash section drift to the art section, their only post will be "EMO!!! U THINK TAT U GOOD!!! U SOCK!!!! ONLY EMO"S DWAW!!!!"

How and where too is simular if not identical to the Flash section. Although the purpose of the forum section and the topic posts are different, the responses are no different from one another. Asking a simple question will result in either "Facepalm" "Fail" or "Oh my god, you are so fucking stupid"

One of the most helpful places, yet people usually go to the General for help. What the fuck is wrong with you people?

Flash:

Name says it all, anything that's not about flash gets LAWKED usually. Never seen a troll roam here.

Politics:

Do you really think NG needs these? Most people don't give a shit about this place, and most people don't even know how to back up their statements. Example: "UR JUST SAYIN U HATE OBAMA CUZ HE'S BLAHCK." Shut the fuck up.

Skip everything to the VG Forum:

This forum is full of a bunch of fan boys who have nothing else better to do. Usually there are PS3 vs 360 vs Wii threads. The rest don't really make sense to me.

General:
90% of this place is pointless garbage, and 9% is a semi-pointless mess. That leaves 1% of what goes on here to be interesting. But a lot goes on here, so even that 1% is enough to keep me interested in NG and in the General forum. However General is also the reason that "Newgrounds" is considered an insulting slur on imageboards, almost on the level that the N word is in real life.

Where is/How to?:
Some of the coolest people on NG are regulars there. Also, when a good thread comes up there, it isn't buried in half an hour like a similar thread in General would be. It stays on the first page, people post in it, some discussion goes on... Also that part of the BBS is responsible for my Deity Whistle, due to Rage's thread.

Clubs & Crews:
A place to hang out with people who share your interests. If it exists, and it's worthy of a club, then there's probably a club for it in there. You make some pretty cool friends there, people you likely wouldn't usually meet.

Video Games:
Take the rifraff of General, set the topic to "video games", and you've got the basics of this forum. I go there every now and then, and see console war after console war, followed by a lot of topics about games I have no desire to play. Every now and then, though, I find something about a familiar topic: Mario, or Metroid, or best of all Zelda.

General -
Yeah, it's shit. But a lot of times, it can be a cool place. Try logging on sometime later in the night when all the little kiddies are in bed. It gets a lot better, and funnier.

WI/HT -
I don't know what you're talking about man. WI/HT isn't a place where people sit around saying "you fail" or "facepalm". It's just the opposite. People who have just signed up recently go there, and their questions are always answered. And then there's places like the Screenshot archive where the regulars chillax and have a good time

Flash -
To be honest, I never visit the flash forum. I use Liveswif, so there's no real reason for me to be there. :(

Politics -
A decent place. Not so many psychos are on there, complaining about how their fish died. A lot of actual discussion goes on there.

Programming -
An actual good place to go if you are website builder. You can really learn a lot about coding from the programming forum. Sure, it's a wasteland, but it's really resourceful.

Clubs & Crews -
This place is great. When you go into a club with people who have a similar interest with you, it's awesome. You can really spark a conversation in there.

Audio -
Only visited here a couple times. Seems nice enough.

Art -

I guess I prefer politics because there's actual discussion and people generally respond to your points, although I must admit taking some General behaviour in their and occasionally just replying with my point, often arguing with someone else, and with no intention of replying to them. And I guess that's why I used to always think my threads were the best - because people read your point and there's lots of discussion you can reply to. But I hardly ever make threads here now - it's hard to find the wavelength we share, tbh. Although I suppose maybe I'm just less of a whore now - I want my threads to be interesting and special but there's not really any demand for it now on General.

Funny how I occasionally go into these revelatory spiels on the BBS, although alas this was all about my posting habits. Guess that's how it happens. And I also suppose that's why I'm attracted to all this internet forum marlarkey - I can put my ideas down and it's all there for posterity, there;s a continual and updated flow of things to talk about to stimulate you, and people instantly read it and pay attention. And I love the written word, for some reason.

I still type with only my index fingers after all this time, but I do it fucking fast.
