I know that some of my female friends find other female friends of theirs funny, but I still don't. I guess the topic should be more about, I don't find women funny. The fact of the matter is though, men are a lot funnier than women will ever be

...to men, then put a period on the end of that sentence. Like you said, girls find one another amusing, however we don't. The same is generally true the other way around. Our two brands of comedy differ greatly, yet although are strikingly similar.

Women find humor in relational comedy- shared common experiences, such as relationships with men, menstrual cycles, "dumb bitches" they know, and other gross and boring shit.
Men find the same thing funny, but usually the relational humor comes from dealing with crazy women on their period, dick and fart jokes, "dumb bitches" they know, and other gross shit.

The main difference is the approach. Men do it with a little more finesse generally, with women you can see it coming a mile away. They simply need to dress up their act a bit, work on the delivery, add a little showmanship. "Zazz" if you will.

I would go so far as to say there are no funny women out there, they are a rare breed. When you find one it's just that much more special.

Every time I've seen her standup it has been her on a stage telling the audience that she married a black man for an hour, with the occasional stereotype joke and absolutely no material that's either original or funny in any way.

I didn't know all her stuff was the same over and over, I hate that. I've only seen her once and it did seem funny at first, but yeah now I see why everyone else doesn't like her.

She's not even a comedian, too, and she was better than the vast majority of female comedians I've seen try to tell jokes.

Well, Mock The Week is just brilliant. It takes someone completely unwitty and unfunny to fuck it up. I can't sit through an episode without bursting out into laughter for more than a minute.

Scenes we'd like to see with Lauren Laverne. I laughed at this one too, but I still didn't really get a good laugh out of her. I guess I just can't find women funny. If they're daring, it's not funny because it's not woman-like.

Wrong link, but I assume it's the "A little bit of wee comes out" one? I mean, yeah, that's worth a chuckle, but then Frankie comes in and goes "CITIZENS OF NEW ATLANTIS, I BRING GREETINGS FROM OUR BROTHERS, THE CRAB MEN" and puts everything into perspective.

I think this is always why I subconciously cringw when I see them going to make a joke because it's obvious what it will be.

I've got a female friend who's pretty damn funny if you ask me she's got a great sense of humor. As far as there being any comidan's who are women that I find funny... that'd be a no. For some reason they just don't do it for me they've never been able to make me laugh... It's not that I'm sexist or anything I just for some reason never find them funny.

Maybe every single one of them just needs to work on there jokes haha'

Fuck. Yes, it is. I mean, what Jamoke said is perfectly true. Women will find women funny because they can relate. The thing is, I see that more of a political campaign. A comedian should be able to stretch to everyone.

I love the comedian Jimmy Carr. He's daring and loves the 'shocked' laughter he gets with most of his jokes. Ricky Gervais with his comedic tour on Animals and Politics. It's just him talking. He never gets in anyone's face or says something extremely offensive, but he's very funny.

It's hard to come up with something original that will be great when you already know everyone likes one thing. But yeah, I only saw her once and I didn't know she did this all the time.

My favourite comedian, by miles, is Billy Connolly. I love his joke style, where it's all just funny stories about things that have happened to him, and his performance style is brilliant, with loads of shouting and actions, and he'll sometimes work a song into it. Plus, he's got a purple beard.

I also like Dylan Moran, Frankie Boyle and Bill Bailey.

Billy Connolly, Bill Bailey and Frankie Boyle are brilliant. I've not seen any of Dylan Moran, although I have heard the name. What's also fun is searching Heckler. For those who don't know, it's generally a person who ruins a performance by shouting out, and is then up to the comedian to deal with them. It really tests the wit of a comedian this way, having to think on the spot and provide insults that can be found humorous by everyone else and not just an attack.

Women definitely are not funny. The ones that girls think are funny are usually the fat friends/dike comic relief that just try to be cute and the other ones find it hilarious. Especially when they do their little 'deep voice man' impression. It brings the other girls to hysterics, and you're left to chuckle just so you don't feel left out or look like an asshole.

I don't think so. To me some women can be funny...If animes count. Some anime girls are funny in their own natural way though...

Women aren't funny.
