I was under the impression that vagrants = people without profiles.
Something that's not at all prevalent since the redesign. User pages, and whatnot.

I was under the same impression. A famous vagrant, if I remember right, was shak3s, who, as you can see, now has a profile. I don't think he had much say in it, it seems that the redesign forced everyone to have a profile.

Btw, Sepulchre, how can you be so knowledgeable about this stuff? You signed up in 2008. How many accounts do you have? Or did you just dig this information up from somewhere?

Here, a screenshot I took from the web archive. This name appearing in gray is a vagrant. The name is in gray rather than orange, because it's UNCLICKABLE. Behold this relic of the past! And what a treat it is to see some of those infamous underscores on his username, like the one I used to have in the middle of my alias.

We have no way of knowing who this brave soul is, whether he still visits Newgrounds, and if so, what name is he now known us.

It can't be disabled, the color for vagrants is still in the user legend at the bottom of the page.
