I say Wii. PS3s cool and all but imo its the worst of the 3 consoles. Not saying its bad, but its nowhere near as good as the Wii or 360 in terms of fun.

If you have a 360, then for god's sake get a Wii because the PS3 had the same games. If you don't then you'll just have to listen to everybody's opinions. Owning both systems, I can safely say the Wii is much better than the PS3. The Wii had more good exclusive games, and they both tie in good games if you count multiplatform games like GTA4. The PS3 had better online with most games, but to my knowledge the Wii has more cool stuff to do when you get online. With the Wii Shop Channel letting you get old Nintendo games from the Nintendo 64 era and before then.

Why ask us? Just get the system with the games that you want to play. Do a little research and look up some titles for each system. Make a choice on which ones you think will appeal to you most. Last thing you need is getting a system with only 2 games that you like.

Also, Goldeneye was not the greatest fps ever fucking made. It was good for its time, and is a piece of shit at best by today's standards. Just because you have fuzzy memories of being 5 years old and mashing buttons on your N64 controller and seeing some loose corolation of what you're doing and what's happening onscreen doesn't mean it's the best thing since sliced bread.

I would have to say a Wii, just because there really aren't that many games for the PS3 that are good. Sure there are a few but, the Wii's games, while more simple (and slightly gimmicky) just seem to be more fun to play. But I will say this if you do get a Wii be prepared to get mind raped by how many cheap, crappy 3rd party games there are out there. Somewhere around 60-70% of all games for the Wii are really gimmicky 3rd party games (WTF!? Major Legue Eating? Who gave that the okay?!...)

Although, if you're a more hardcore gamer (like myself) you might want to consider a PS3, however, the console doesn't have much appealing features that an Xbox 360 has. Out of all 3 consoles I would chose a 360 (Due to the better exclusive games, and better online play), but out of those 2 I would say a Wii.

PS3. It's official that if you are a fan of Nintendo, they don't make games for you anymore. So unless you are a middle aged parent or small child, the wii is a very poor choice.
