Well, I think bleeping curses on TV makes the line funnier than when it isn't bleep or cutoff. I was watching South Park and Mrs. Garrison says:

"Everyone sit down and shut the *Bleep* up."
I started laughing, but then I watched it on southparkstudios.com and they didn't bleep the curse and It wasn't as funny.

So NG, are jokes funnier when they are bleeped/cutoff or when they are not?

Maybe the reason you didn't laugh the second time is because you'd already seen it?
And I don't like it when they bleep it, I prefer it to be natural.

I feel the same way. There was this episode of Kablam that had the main girl character keep bleep censoring the main guy character, even though he wasn't cursing, and it was hilarious.

I think its true that bleeps can make a line funny, but only with a specific pitch for the bleep (The ones used for South Park). Only high pitched makes it funny for some reason, like when Venture Bros. censors a line, the low pitched bleeps steps on the joke.
