This is an annoy subject to talk about, in the sense that they are both, very talented animators.
They both have things they could improve on.

basic ex.

Rtil :
-Don't bitch about the NG score system which survives on the left over donut holes left by fat 13 year olds w/ bitch tits.
-Don't be an ass to other authors, yeah, you may get more reconition but the "non-retards" on the bbs will notice that at the end of the day, your just another flash artists who whore'd and bitched to the world just for that + 1 view

EgoRaptor :
-If you truly want to continue, while continuing to earn respect from the "non-retards" on NG, you need to clean up your comedic act. It's all just to damn basic.
-Lose the Awesome series. Annoyingly, you made a message on MGA2 and declared that you were moving away from the series, I was happy. But you couldn't find out/decide on where to go next. So you decided to go where you're comfortable w/ Awesome Gaiden.

Thats the true two main flaws w/ both artists.
Say what you will, those are all facts.

I could of fucking sworn Egoraptor said that he was going to stop making fucking awesome movies. And isn't it a bit conveneant that his DVD is delayed so he can make more money on the web first with Newgrounds new in movie ad system. Also awesome crossing was a remake.... that's as low as it gets.

Well what has he? Besides what's on the front page and that's because in the Metal funnies collab it got thrown aside completely by 13 year olds who couldn't take a joke with a pinch of irony. You can't just make a point and make absolutely no attempt to back it up...

Respect factors just doubled for having actually having a decent taste in humour. This isn't just a take side thing though, I love the creativity in Flash, I just think Egoraptor should move away from his random comedy onto something more original. If I had potentially hundreds of thousands of fans ready to lap up anything I create and the voice talent Ego has, I would go all out to make something decent! I haven't submitted a Flash yet because Everytime I get close, I look at what I can improve and redraft it.

I personally am getting bored with the Egoraptor flashes, and the latest ones, in my opinion, are extremely over-rated.

I'd even go and say that his style of comedy is starting to annoy me.

Both are good animators (Rtil being much better) but Egoraptor is cool. I laughed a lot when Metal Gear Awesome came out. But, now when I watch them, I just get a giggle or two.

Egoraptor doesn't suck. I just don't like his fan base saying that he's the best thing to ever grace Newgrounds.

Oh, and like I said, Rtil is a far better animator, anyway. He deserves a nice, cozy front-page spot.

I second that. They are great animators, and I like both their movies (for different reasons obviously) but Egoraptor seems like the better person. All rtil does is bitch about how Newgrounds is going into the shit and 'proper' flashes like his should get all the attention. I used to like him but now he just comes off as an asshole.

For everyone who hates rtil for acting childish towards ego and his fame, you guys are pretty stupid and don't really get it, do you. Rtil's using satire. If you don't get it you will hate it, if you actually get it you will probably love it or not care at all. And that counts for pretty much all of rtil's flashes besides GUM and Metropolis Circuit (and probably some more I am forgetting).

Satire =! Childish behavior, even if it seems like that if ya don't get it. Satire is a form of comedy that is probably too high for most of you guys as it seems. That was proven by the MGF collab.
