Games You Must Beat One Day

Do you have a game/s you could just never beat?

Mine was Super Mario Bros, for some reason I could never beat it, but today I finally beat it (woo me). I went for a run through all my old school games to beat them, super ghosts n ghouls, megaman 4, hudson island 2, fantastic dizzy, mickey mania upon many more.

Some we easy for me now, but others were still very tough. I left Mario last, its the one I truly aimmed to beat, and I found it the hardest even after beating the other games. Feels good, but there's a kind of saddness to it aswell.

I can't really think of anything that I haven't beat :P, though I still wanna go back and beat final fantasy 7 again, cause now I realize that the w-item glitch was cheating.

Ghosts N Gobblins.

Could never do it on the NES... game is hard as fuck. Then one of my friends got it on a "Classic Collections" game for the X-Box. So me and two other friends sat down and started playing it. We played it all day long... got to the final boss, killed him. Turns out he has two other forms. Could never kill the third form.

Then we ran out of continues.

I've always tried to beat Final Fantasy VII, but I get caught up with either work or school and can't devote any time to it. Lately i've had nothing but free time, and am thinking about taking another swing.

Jak II is the most difficult game I've ever played. I got to the last boss but he was impossible to beat. It's been years since I've tried, though. Unfortunately, I no longer have the game so I'll have to rent it to give it another go.

I never managed to beat the first Spyro the Dragon game, and I probley never will.

I wonder if that is harder/easier than Super GnG. Once I got used to the game I got through the game quite easily, until having the redo the Nemeroth boss with the magic bracelet. Damn that weapon sucks.

Super Mario 64, i beat it like 3 years ago, but that was like 2 years after I had given up on the last bowser.

I also should go and beat Mass Effect, I've gotten to robot planet and evrything but just got bored :\.
And I need to go and beat HL2 for the Orange Box. And I have to go and the get the vorticough achievement ( I know how to, just never did) so my achievements doesnt have a fucking 7.

Eternal Sonata - Got sick of the voice acting, might consider turning the language to Weeaboo mode.
FarCry Instincts: Predator - If my save file didn't corrupt because the game crashed when it was saving, I would be done.
Oblivion - Made little progress. Game's too damn big.

I beat GH 3 on hard, and I must say, after you do it, you feel really liberated. Working on five starring as much songs on solo career as possible.

Honestly? If you can pass raining blood on hard, Lou shouldn't be a problem. It took weeks for me to do raining blood on hard ONCE, and beating Lou on hard only took about 4 or 5 tries in two days. Basically, get two powers up, wait for a long section of his, release one at a time.

Aftwards, cheer up and down. Save, turn off machine, plug in standard controller, go to hard career again, get an extra achievement for your hard work.

and Dead Rising. I killed the butcher guy finally, and was running like hell to the next and final destination and I ran out of time. I reloaded it 4 more times and thried to make it, but I couldn't make it. **FRUSTRATING**

Army of Two, I got to the last fucking level (fighting the Americans), and I knew if I didn't complete it on that day I'd never do it, you know why? GTA IV came out the day after.

I'm not sure on this... but I think the game that came out for the SNES was the sequal "Ghouls n Ghosts" which, to me, looks exactly like Ghosts n Gobblins but is somehow a diffrent game. I don't think I've ever played Super GnG.

I was able to beat Super Mario Bros. when I was eight years old, although it took countless hours of trial and error. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever be able to conquer Super Mario Bros. 2/The Lost Levels. I got to World 7 on the GBC version, but that was it.

Also, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is flatout impossible to beat towards the end of the campaign. I mean, holy shit...

As for me i neverd finishd MGS1 i don't know why tough :/ couldn't get pass the easy tank man.

Don't get me started on days of ruin (and duel strike for that matter).
Years ago i tried beating super probotector on hard mode with little success so i downloaded it off the wii shop channel a while ago. Now i can't even beat it on normal.

None of the games posted even slightly compare to the incredible challenge of XCOM.

You start off with no armor.

One hit, and that unit is gone.

And in XCOM 3, those pesky brainsucker capsules take over your guys and turn against you.

I've pretty much been able to beat all of my games, I did remember that on MegamanZero2 I just couldn't get past it in Hard Mode, I found that it was incredibly easy a few months ago though, I'm one of those people who take damage to give damage, in pretty much all my games
