More disc space, more memory, and a better program! You probably won't buy a program but adobe premiere elements is a good program for simple video editing.

what i've noticed with movie maker is that during editing the video will be laggy throughout, but once you actually export your movie it will play lag free.

but video editing requires a lot of memory and processing power.

That's basically with any movie maker though because of the rendering process.

Heres what you do:
A. You need more disk space which means
go into your control pannel
B. Add or Remove programs
C. Delete anything you dont need that u downloaded

Another way to get more memory is to go into files like my documents and delete alot of pictures u dont want anymore.

Memory and disk space are 2 different things. But I do agree with putting stuff on disk that you're not using anymore but want to keep.

Any video editor will cause the playback to lag, hence why I said that any movie maker will lag.

Dude Windows Move Maker is crap. Deal with it.
Your computer also needs more memory space. Go and get it.
Buy Sony Vegas (or torennt it). Do it.
