Pineapples are epic because they're spikey, delicious, and you can beat someone unconscious with them.

Watermelons are epic because not only are they enormous, but they're juicy, sweet, and entirely carvable; watermelons are a sculpter's dream.

Bananas are epic because they are the most widely eaten fruit in the world, they're incredibly versatile, and for God's sake monkeys eat them (yes, the fact that they're eaten by primates makes them epic)
