First of all you could only presume that your 'existence' or presumably lack thereof prior to your current existence wasn't that scary because you have no way of recalling or comprehending it so naturally you assume it was just an everlasting nothingness as it is too difficult to comprehend it being anything else and not very comforting to think that it may be complete hell especially if you return to the same abyss after death.

Secondly, there's also a very real possibility that 'life' after death may be very different to 'life' before death. I'm not one to believe that ones actions thought their life can have any affect on this but with that said there is nothing to suggest that the two 'existences' would be even remotely similar.

im not really afraid of dieng either. yknow if i were to die now then i would just be mad at not being able to accomplish much. it just feels weird thinking like that. if something does happen then i hope one thing is reincarnation cause i would love to be a dog. sitting there around the house, doing nothing, etc.

After you're dead, your brain and all emotions will be dead, including fear. So, there's nothing to be scared of, because fear won't exist after death.

Unfortunately, that also means happiness doesn't exist. Ah well.
