I was going to create a detailed list of my reasons, and that was one of them... I'd rather kick it with the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lama is just a jolly looking guy. Whereas the Pople, frankly, looks like the devil to me. I'd be afraid to look him in the eye otherwise he'd pull an Emperor Palpatine and zap me with Sith lightning.

The Dalai Lama has won the Nobel Peace Prize, the Pope has not. The Lama is also political and spiritual leader of Tibet. I would say that the Pope does have more followers though..
