Turns out it's a keylogger that is sending everyone these PM's. It has control of my Email and Password.

I'll have to wait until Wade gets on and then ask him to change it, or wipe my account. One of the two.

I am one of those people.

I just deleted a load of files. Must have got the right one, then I system restored using the command file.

Everything is fine, except sometimes I get some error messages popping up, and then new tabs in firefox being directed to the SS website. Everything else expect the keylogger has been deleted.

Even if Wade or someone sorts this shit out and gets it away from Newgrounds, I'm not satisfied. At the very least, these fuckers need to have their internet connections cut off permanently, computers taken away and be given hefty fines they're going to be paying for the rest of their lives.

No, not a search quest. I'm actually giving myself the virus, on a virtual OS of course, and researching exactly what goes on. But thanks. :)

Shit happens. Your desktop wallpaper gets switched with a Star Syndicate one, TONS of shortcuts that lead to a flash files saying how you got hacked appear on your desktop, you get locked out of pretty much everything (like control panel, system restore, etc.), heh, you obviously get the keylogger, and Newgrounds and several other sites are then automatically redirected to the Star Syndicate one when you try to get to them. Oh, and you also get a message before you log on saying that you have been hacked by the SS.

So, yeah, I want everybody who has the virus on their PC to pm the text of the logfile you get from running a program called Hijackthis. That way, I can compare and see what changed.

Weird, when I got hacked, all that happened was the perp made a spam topic with my account and then he told me that my account wasn't worth the effort of doing anything more malicious to it.
