I was just looking at the city in the header, and noticed that there's a bunch of huge wires leading up to a tower or something that dwarfs the rest of the city. What is this? Is it like the Citadel in Half-Life 2? or is it Tom's house?

It's probably just a perspective issue, like a telephone wire being close to you with the city in the backdrop.
