The theme is Cooperation, meaning it must involve at least 2 people or computers, and I'd like your input on any ideas, because I'm stumped and that $1000 would be very nice. Any thoughts?

I could, and I do have some experience, but I could $1000 for making a simple game.

This games gotta have some kind of originality, something that people will find a new experience. But keep in mind what hapened in the rock out contest. About 30 of the same idea. So it maybe a good idea to keep an eye on the competition. I'm really not one to talk about this kind of thing.

Make a 1st Person shooter War type of Game, Like Call of Duty or Medal of Honour and make it USA vs Iraq, to make it cooperative make some missions for you to be a leader and you have to control your team like tell them to follow you and cover you and stuff like that would be wicked if you do make it!!

It sounds like you've had that idea for a while, I suggest you see if Game Maker is right for you.

Ok so a quik idea 4 u:
Its not very original but a good version is desperatly needed. We all know there are a milion Mario games on the net and loads more spoofs on NG alone but i have yet to see a good game re-make.
For example the Super Mario Bros. on NintendoDS would be perfect for a flash re-make.
Make everything the same, including levels ie landscapes backgrounds, monnsters coins ect
just make sure u incluse a warning sayin "this is NOT making money threw piracy" so nintendo cant sue ur ass.
Of course u need a NDS and the games itself- or at least borow a friends or siblings.
I was going to do this myself but I dont have flash yet and wont for a while. i hope this helps

If you want something like that, research about ROM hacks (but they're illegal) But I don't think you interpreted the co-operation part well. Actually, at all.

Anyway, Game Maker is incredibly simple, I suggest you try it yourself.
