When you read that, did you think of God of War or Gears of War? Because somewhere along the line we're going to have to decide which game gets those letters.

And what other funny combinations could be made with GoW?

I read it as God of War.
Even though I've only ever played Gears and am not familiar with the God of War series at all.

Probably because I've seen people refer to gears as GsoW.
Keeping the plural from G.

I don't think it's very common that the two will be compared or come up in the same conversation often enough to cause too much confusion, anyway.

I read it's Gears of War, and lets all face it, more people know about Gears of War then God of Warbecause it's a shooter, and both God of War and God of War 2 were for the PS2.

And I never really thought of God of War as GoW, I thought of it as God of War.

I've never ever before read "God of War" as "GoW" before, which is pretty weird to me.

Gears of War, GoW is pretty much its initials, I've never seen anyone say God of War as GoW. Just doesn't feel right :\

I've never seen GsoW either....

God of War came out first, so I read it as God of War.

Isn't this partly why people almost never say GoW to refer to Gears? All I ever hear people say is Gears, or (typing) GeoW
