Family Guy is so totally awesome, I mean it just rocks. I love that show. But on the other hand American Dad sucks, whats the deal with that? Arnt they both made from the same people?

I know that they can't just put the same random flashbacks[which is the main funny part about Family guy] into American Dad, but still, come on, there is hardly anything funny about American Dad. The only time that I have ever laughed at taht show was when I was high....and the TV was on MUTE...

Family guy is all about stupid fucking flashbacks every 1 minuet that have no relation to the story what soever.

The producers just make a lame ass plot and add some flashbacks = boring

American dad isn't THAT great, but it has some funny jokes.

American Dad is better, it's not an amazing show but it's worth watching. Family Guy has gotten so stale, I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong for quite some time, but it's pretty much what they said on Southpark. The jokes on Family Guy aren't jokes,

That's probably why American Dad isn't quite as funny. The lack of flashbacks and randomness. Although it doesn't suck in my opinion, I still prefer Family Guy.

I agree. The political side of American Dad is really more for plot purposes. I can't think of a single memorable political joke from American Dad.

there made by the same guy, but apparently he didnt want american dad being TOO like family guy, with the flashbacks and stuff, thus making it really bad. but i still think its ok. i prefer family guy. american dad just doesnt have any of those memorable moments, you know what i mean?

That totally reminds me of another reason why Family Guy sucks. When they just steal, not a parody, just stealing jokes and scenes form movies. Like when Stewie did the Ferris Bueller thing, or the Naked Gun thing. It's not parody, it's just plain theft.

Just watched American Dad and there were no political jokes in the whole episode.
